The camera features a full-frame 10.2MP back-illuminated Exmor R sensor, recording 4K up to 120fps with excellent colour science and strong low-light performance. With dual base ISO (800 / 12,800 in S-Log3), over 15 stops of dynamic range, and Sony’s FastHybrid Autofocus with real-time eye tracking, it performs reliably in both controlled and unpredictable environments.
Built-in cooling enables extended record times, while 5-axis in-body stabilisation and a detachable XLR top handle provide professional-grade audio and steady handheld shooting. Recording options include XAVC S-I, XAVC S and XAVC HS for flexible post workflows.
The FX3 uses Sony’s E mount, with easy adaptation to Canon EF and other lens systems, making it a versatile, production-ready cinema camera in a compact package.
